I’ve been hearing a lot of talk about people who already received descriptions of the honors seminars and are already deciding for what to register. I got a sheet in the mail regarding the freshman honors seminars, but I didn’t get any course descriptions or anything? Do only certain people get the descriptions, or rather, does anyone know what I’m describing?

i was some sort of scholar as an incoming freshman last year, and i remember i just got a list of the names. as did most people i know who were scholars as well. you can find the course description online on the cas.nyu.edu website.

Mmmmk yeah, I figured that only scholars could have gotten the list. I’ll check the website then. I just wanted to make sure I wasn’t supposed to be doing anything much with classes before orientation.

My son was invited to take the Freshman and Collegiate Seminars. They are credit courses. They want your selections by tomorrow. You can fax it in.

My son is not a NYU presidential Scholar (afaik).

He did receive 2 large (15K each) scholarships (Trustee and Milton & Carole Petrie).
