I am currently a junior in high school. My GPA is around ~3.2. All but one of my classes are regulars. I have about a ~21 on my ACT but I am planning on retaking it. I failed my band class freshmen and sophomore year and it brang my GPA down by alot but I still managed to keep it around 3.2. Am I still able to go to college with my grades and regular classes? I really don’t want to go to community college.

Apply for USC. You have a great shot and it is really easy to get into, even with your stats. Just make sure to get a 2350 on the SAT though.

I highly doubt that I can get ~2350 on the SAT if I have a 21 on my ACT. I’m from Illinois by the way.

I’d say Illinois because it is in your state and it is the flag ship school of that state, but I don’t know much about the requirements.

You’ll never get it if you never try.

The college you go to does not matter that much. You just have to win the lottery and you’ll be set for life.

OP, forget the above dreck. Yes there is a college for you. Reach for your state flagship U.

Apply to your state university. You will get in.

Thanks for the replies. It’s really motivating. I thought my only options were Community College because of my classes.
