Daughter got into computer science. Barely any financial aid. So much different than other schools she got into that were equal or better. Don’t know how they figure that.
Son accepted to CS. OOS, 35ACT, goes to a school that uses narrative transcripts with no grades/GPA/ranking so can’t comment there. 4yrs student leadership on the FRC team, lots of mentoring/TA at school, volunteering at the local science museum, a few other ECs. $10,000 merit, but he didn’t realize there was a separate application for the $25,000 FIRST scholarship. D’oh! That one hurts.

Son got accepted today around 5:00 EST into the Whitman School of management, he did get a grant of about 28K which was a nice surprise, trying to figure out if the grant is a sure thing for all for years, without it the Case is out of reach w a ticket of 76K. Doe merit aid show up on the my slice FA page?

After getting waitlisted to Univ of South Carolina we were not optimistic about Syracuse and we’re looking at plan B schools, but my D got the email at 5:15! Falk - Sports Management w 10k Deans Scholarship. 28ACT/90gpa downstate NY.

Was admitted to the College of Arts and Sciences with a major in Bio-tech, received a 28k leadership scholarship, which was awesome until I saw the ticket price of 76k and had a slight panic attack lol.
GPA: roughly 4.3

EC’s: Super into theatre so I did a bunch of shows and won some local community theatre awards.
Curious to know how exclusive the leadership scholarship is?
Edit: Forgot to mention I was admitted on February 21st don’t know if that has something to do with the scholarship?
Syracuse’s decisions come in waves. There will be a wave with mostly waitlists, and more with acceptances and some with rejections. This isn’t it!
where does everyone see the scholarships/ how much money received?
@Jcc1964 my friend’s had hers in the letter. Except, my letter says nothing about it so I’m assuming no money. Unfortunate because $76000 a year is a lot.
