Make sure you apply early on. Many more than qualified students have been rejected almost inexplicably except for the fact that they submitted their application kind of late.

I need more input, I feel my GPA may really hurt me, and my lack of EC’s, and in that case is my hospital stuff going to help me a lot or a little?

I’d say it depends on the rest of the applicants from your school. If too many more qualified students than yourself apply, you could be rejected. Plenty of students with similar stats were rejected from my high school because of the abundance of overly qualified students.

Write good essays and apply early. Try to get some decent LORs.
