Schools:
Northwestern - WCAS
Georgetown - McDonough
NYU - Stern
Carnegie Mellon - Tepper
USC - Marshall
Boston College - Carroll
UC Berkeley
UCLA
UCSD
UCI

Would my high test scores offset my low/mediocre GPA? Are my ECs focused enough and show interest in business?

Any/all input would be appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Northwestern - WCAS - Reach
Georgetown - McDonough - Accepted
NYU - Stern - Could be anywhere… NYU is easy but Stern isn’t
Carnegie Mellon - Tepper - Not sure, could be accepted…
USC - Marshall - Accepted
Boston College - Carroll - Accepted, but can be really tricky… You’ll have to rely on your EC’s
UC Berkeley - Denied
UCLA - Accepted
UCSD - Accepted
UCI - Accepted

Thanks! Bump.

Up…

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/623727-chances-would-appreciated-chances-back.html

Thanks, hope you’re right.

Up!

Just submitted my Georgetown app, the VERY LAST one! :D

Chances please!

Up…

Northwestern - WCAS–Reach
Georgetown - McDonough–Slight Reach
NYU - Stern–Match
Carnegie Mellon - Tepper–Match to Slight Reach (closer to Match, but borderline)
USC - Marshall–Match
Boston College - Carroll–Slight Reach
UC Berkeley (Haas, after two years)–Slight Reach
UCLA (Business Economics)–Slight Reach
UCSD (Economics)–Match
UCI (Business)–Match

Good luck.

P.S. If you get in, I’d go to (in order): UC Berkeley (Haas), USC-Marshall, NYU-Stern, and CMU - Tepper. All the rest are ok, but not so math-centric as those–which because of their math focus will be good matches for you.

essays and recommendations r VERY IMPORTANT now these days

Thanks for your input guys. Bump!

Bump…

Up…

Sigh… anyone? =

Bump…

hOW DID U NOT GET IN UR A MONSTER MAN… NYU IS A MATCH

Thanks, Ronakmp. My GPA, the weakest part of my application, is probably what made the difference between the acceptance and rejection =

Bump!

Up…

well i think you have a great chance at all of those, with berkeley as the only reach
also, these top schools will give you a lot of money because of your family income, so dont worry about that, youll do fine wherever you go
