Rejected due to lost transcript

Harvey Mudd sent me an email some time back about my secondary school report being missing.

I had another one sent.

Just today I got a letter saying my file is closed because they don’t have all the documents they need.

What?

oh no!

Have you called them yourself? They’re really nice people and maybe they can help you.

I was intimidated by the finaleness of language of the letter, but I could try.

Yeah, I understand.

But by calling you are showing an interest and concern about your admission, if anything, it might even help you. I think they have dealt with the postal service to know that it’s not 100% reliable.

Another thing is that, Mudd cares (at least that’s what I hope). They do take their time to help you and they are people-persons (?). Anyway, that’s one of the reasons I chose a LAC over an university.

Let us know how it goes and good luck bouffanse!

I agree that folks at both admissions and financial aid offices are very friendly and helpful. So, calling them is a good idea.

I got rejected by UIUC for the same reason, although when I called them (actually my counselor did) if they received it they said they did. wth.

bouf, so when the college sent you the first email, why didn’t you call them and then make sure that they received another copy?

and why did you not react with the second email?

by not reacting you are essentially showing HM that you don’t care much for the school
