rejected from goizueta

what do people do when they’re rejected from the b-school
change majors/careers?
go a fifth year?
transfer?
I guess that’s the downside of the 2yr biz program

but seriously, it’s not that hard to maintain a 3.4 and get into the b school is it?

As I recall, Goizeuta has about an 85% admit rate… I would think that the remaining 15% have little real interest, motivation, desire for business anyway. I wouldn’t worry all that much. cf to business program at UVa…admit rate much lower.

Matters where their interests are. If they are rejected and really want to do Goizueta - something tells me they will get in. They don’t flat out reject; they “waitlist.”

You can then hold an interview and plead your case; you can also show them your grades at the end of the semester before they make their decision.

I see the application more as a screening tool to make sure that those applying are able to go through the program. Theres always those who drop business after doing one or two pre-requisites.
