Has anyone been rejected from the waitlist? Or do they just keep everyone who was not accepted in the previous two rounds of waitlist? If so, it’s upsetting that they’re keeping the other 600(?) something students for what will probably only be five spots left.

Hi stuntin. No-one’s been rejected from the waitlist, so around 600 people are still on it. I doubt that they’ll be taking anyone else though. Even if they have five spots left, which in itself is highly dubious, I doubt they’ll go that extra length to really make it a class of 1700…1695 sounds pretty ok.

I would say that, if you haven’t found out that you’re in by now, then you need to give up on Stanford. There is, of course, the off-chance that they will accept a couple more kids if they have to rescind any acceptances this summer. But don’t count on it.
