Penn State considers GPA 2/3 of the decision, and yours may be a bit below the average. Especially if you applied to a competitive major like business or engineering – then it could be far below the average.
What major did you apply for?
Is that 3.4 unweighted or weighted?
Do you have calculus, 4 years of a foreign language, each of bio/chem/physics, and 4 units each if English and social science?
If you do, I do agree it’s a bit weird, call on Monday perhaps.
@howtobebasic did you write the optional essay? That is reviewed … if needed. Can only benefit you to write it.
My guess is you applied for a very competitive major and you tried to get by on your SAT score alone.
