Rejected...What Now/

I just got rejected for the FMM 2015 Spring semester and I’m not sure what to do now. I will apply again for the Fall but I Want to also increase my chances of getting in. I’m currently enrolled in a California community college and i will be honest my GPA is not that great believe its around 2.9 so maybe that’s why I wasn’t accepted. Or Maybe I need a better essay since there is no portfolio to judge. My question is will i have a better chance to be accepted if i apply for the evening weekend program? Should I hold off on applying and raise my GPA to have a better opportunity? i really want to go to this school because after much research i have found this to be the best school for my career plans.

If the evening weekend program offers research it would look good on your fall application to have some research experience. Holding off to improve your GPA is a good idea but there’s no guarantee that it will help you get admitted in the fall. I think if I were I would shoot for the evening weekend program. That way you can get your foot in the door and get some experience. Also there are plenty of institutions around the country that would be more than happy to have you attend their school. Just keep an open mind. I hope everything works out for you!!
