My dad works with some one who applied to Wharton and was denied. She was a straight A student with a 2300 SAT. She sent an appeal to the admissions office and I was just wondering what the process is and if it makes a difference.

Appeal is an opportunity for students to correct and clarify their original applications. IT IS NOT a second chance for applicants to try and get accepted into the college they got rejected from. If that person appeals, he or she better have new information to present or else the appeal is already denied.
