"rejection fever"

None of you are rejected yet!! Wait until April 1st.

That is all.

-Andrew

P.S. Please link anyone who “assumes they are rejected” to this thread.

I think i am rejected…

I guess I will take a year off or something and try again for FSU and USC

It’s looking grim for me as well… why take a year off? why don’t you try as a transfer?

i’m already on a year off…so i can’t take another haha

@mitchster

because the programs I want to get in (SCA or FSU film school) are the most competitive and don’t have more than 4 slots for trannies…

you sure they only have four spots a year for production, for transfers? That seems a little low if sca says that 1/3 of their students are transfers. You would also have a good shot at critical studies, no?

themitchster–where did you get info that SCA admits 1/3 of students as transfers? Never heard that one before.

hey madbean I was just remembering what it said on their website (SCA’S site) I copied the myth vs reality link quote

Myth: We don’t accept transfer students.
Reality: The School of Cinematic Arts welcomes transfer students from institutions around the city, state and nation. For example, in fall 2009, well over one-third of our incoming undergraduate students were transfers.

WOW, themitchster. Thx for the citing. Very exciting for transfer candidates and we wish you all the best.

haha no problemo, yes goodluck to all! I’m curious as to why it doesn’t say city, state, nation, and world… they are a private school, no?

haha I did email them about being an intl transfer so I know they do take em;).

how many people still on “Forwarded”?

@everyone

my apologies, i didnt word that right. FSU (my top choice) only have 4-6 transfer slots. SCA varies.

no worries…

now, is it a problem that usconnect is my homepage? hahaha
I think i’ve lost my mind

My status has been “Your application is being reviewed by the admission committee” since December. Should I just assume that I am rejected because it seems like most people now are starting to get some kind of update?

^^haha themitchster. that’s really funny.

Come on people read the damn OP!

Haha you’re not rejected. It is very possible (and most likely) that USC hasn’t gotten to your app yet. It can’t take longer than 10 minutes per app to review. So you can switch to forwarded and be accepted on march 31st. You all have 7 days to be reviewed.

I like you’re attitude TrojAndrew :)

Seriously people there is still hope! I didn’t get a single status change until Monday and two days later I’ve been accepted! I had even given up hope last thursday.

I hope your theory is correct because I would love nothing more than to get accepted into Marshall right now!
