Rejection Letters

I received my rejection letter in the mall, and in the last paragraph they said:
ou are among a select group of students that USC wants to admit (transfer) in 2-3 semesters and that you can set up an appointment with a counselor sometime during June to plan it all out.

so what does this really mean?

normally this applies to legacies and it really means what says. they will work with you to get you in within the next year or so by planning what courses to take and grades to get. lucky you! good luck!

not a guaranteed transfer but they are highly interested in you in a year or two. most common with strong legacies but i’m sure extended beyond those terms since usc does have such a large transfer program.
