How well did your sophomore year PSATs correlate with your later SATs? Did you see a big jump? Due to aging into the material, or just studying?

I just saw the thread on the next page about jr PSATs to SATs. No need to repeat, unless someone has an insight on the growth between soph and jr year.

Also, I really have no interest in hearing all the bragging. Really sick of people saying things like, “I’m really stupid, I only got a 2100” when most kids get nothing like that. Those posters must find joy in making others feel badly.

I got much better from my soph psat. MUCH better, like top tier college better. I was like 192 soph year. Most sophs don’t do exceptional on the SAT because they just aren’t familiar with it, its format, question types, etc. As you practice and get used to the material and what they look for and how to approach problems, you will see a big jump. But you have to put in the time too.
