<p>my aunt is unmarried and has volunteered to pay for my education, about 5k a year. do colleges take such sponsors seriously?</p>
<p>also, when they calculate how much my family will contribute, will they include the 5k as part of the contribution, or only a % of the 5k? my aunt IS able to pay all 5k per year without any problem, so i hope they DO take 100% of the 5k as part of my family contribution.</p>
