Release date for HP 7 (Deathly Hallows) announced

<p>I was soooo surprised when I heard this. I had prepared myself for a summer 2008 release date. I suppose one week could be enough time to dwell on the hype of Movie 5. Oh well, this summer will be one extraordinary Harry Potter summer!</p>

<p>I noticed that the bookstores also jacked up the prices of this book. :(</p>

<p>I actually have a legtimate theory about this book.</p>

<p>Harry will dip into the Dark Arts.</p>

<p>Why do I say that? Because basically he has the Darth Vader mindset at htis point. His anger often gets the best of him, and in this case, the desire to kill Voldemort has dominated his mind set, to the point if it being the only reason to live. Therefore, I think he’d want to learn more powerful spells, like Crucio and Avada Kedavra. And thus, going into the Dark Arts.</p>

<p>That doesn’t count. You’re half and half. It’s part of a tradition because, well, it’s your holiday from the other side. When I said that Jews don’t celebrate christmas, I don’t mean people with 1 Jewish parent or even recently converted parents (because it’s still part of their heritage). I mean like, Jews that actually go to synagogue on at least the major holdays. Like conservative or above. Reform and reconstructionist people are Jewish, but they don’t really count because they don’t really have anything to do with the religion. They identify with Judaism, but they don’t really associate with it, if that makes any sense. They’re a lot more like everybody else, so I’m sure that some of them do celebrate Christmas. But they don’t count.</p>
