<p>She was a finalist for a scholarship there, and she had to go to an interview, where they told her she was accepted. Makes sense to me.</p>
<p>yes, all scholarship finalists are accepted. as soon as you register for interview, “Congratulations on being accepted here at UC Berkeley”, then they give you a banner and CalMom and CalDad buttons for your parents. those candidates who registered for overnight get a tshirt too.</p>

^lol, thanks bro, you could’ve of just said i was wrong but nah man, your too cool for that. And in MY OPINION, race and ethnicity are not a huge factor judging by collegeboards stats on how many asians/white/etc. attend. It looks like race and ethnicity don’t really help or hurt at all.</p>
