<p>Hello Everyone,</p>

<p>I understand how much these “Chance Me” posts are frowned upon; however, I am not looking for answers to “Will I get in?”, but rather to “Should I even apply?”.</p>

<p>This week I have my final exams and am really getting depressed considering that all this work may never pay off.</p>

<p>I will just list some brief information so as to not bore you:</p>

<p>Would you guys suggest that bringing my SAT score above 2,300 would help me get into the Ivy League?</p>

<p>You have a decent shot at UCLA, especially if you can bring that already excellent SAT score up. I don’t know enough about the East Coast schools (I’m from Southern California) to even guess on those. But I know a few kids who were accepted to UCLA with stats similar to yours.</p>

<p>However being an unregistered Native American does NOT make you a URM.</p>

<p>Raising your test scores will not increase your chances substantially. You have a shot at all the schools. It just depends on your essays, luck and recs.</p>
