I was wondering, should you take into consideration the religious affiliation of a graduate school into account?

I am considering applying to the Catholic University of America’s dual Masters in Library Science and History. However, I’m not Catholic. Not even close to being Catholic. Does this make a difference for grad school admissions? For the atmosphere? For the political atmosphere?

I don’t think it will make a difference for admissions and not only will you likely find many non-Catholic students attending, you will also find that there is an extremely broad range of attitude and nuances of belief among Catholics. E.g., there are certainly substantial numbers of pro-choice, pro-gay marriage Catholics.
