It depends on how religious you want. Some schools just try to keep in touch with their religious backgrounds–like they have a chaplain, but you don’t have to go to services. My mom works at a school that is Presbyterian. There are some scholarships for Presbyterian students, they pray at college functions, but there isn’t pressure to be Presbyterian or even Christian, at least by the staff. And certainly you are not accepted or rejected based on your religious preference. They want diversity. I think this how a lot of them are.
Some other schools, like Macalester, are supposedly religious but make the PR list of “Students Ignore God on a Regular Basis.” Go figure. And then there are your Bob Jones/Liberty/Oral Roberts schools that go really far, and if you try to get in there but you’re Buddhist or something you probably will get rejected.

I know Georgetown is Catholic-affiliated but they do not really push that on you. There are plenty of them who party with GWU kids in D.C. at night :)

thanks!!!
