<p>How do you solve for the remainder of two divided numbers on the TI89T? Thanks:D</p>

<p>The function is:</p>

<p>propFrac(numerator/demnominator). </p>

<p>However, you must use the EXACT mode of EXACT/APPROX thing to have it work all the time.</p>

<p>That isn’t what I was thinking of.</p>

<p>I was thinking of it doing something like this:</p>

<p>8/9= remainder is 1</p>

<p>(8 goes into 9 once, and then you do 9-8=1)</p>
