I saw David Cassidy on Oprah just the other day singing “I think I love you” and have been doing it ever since. Especially since it was one of my first 45s and I know EVERY SINGLE WORD.

Oh no…this is a problem. I used to listen to the radio on my way to work and it was the last song that I heard that got stuck in my head. I opt for talk radio these days insead.
I did , however go to the grocery store today and have had " Billy don’t be a Hero " rattling around in my brain all day.
I need to reprogram

Yesterday I drove DS and 2 of his friends about a half hour to our local state U for an AP Chem info. meeting. One of them brought his iPod, which S connected to my radio. We heard quite a mix of songs on the way up and back. This morning I woke up with Weird Al banging around in my head – Canadian Idiot. Swell.
I used to torture my kids by singing the Lamb Chop song. I have loved Lamb Chop since I was young and I have one sitting on my bed now!! :)

garland, grrr. My head is bouncing between “skyrockets in flight”, and “feeling like a fool”. (Forget the melodies, WHY do I remember these lyrics???)
I have two words for you: copa cabana.

I can’t find my keys, I regularly call my own cell phone to find it; however, like most of you, I know the words to a whole host of cheesy 70’s songs… why can’t I program what those brain cells contain!!!

As “remix” versions of some of these songs have found their way onto my kids’ IPODS, I DO get brownie points for being able to sing along, though! I’m just waiting for the new “I Think I Love You” version… hmm…who would follow in David Cassidy’s footsteps on THAT one!!!

Anyone have mental images/flashbacks to where they were and what they were doing back when the songs were popular? I listen to classic rock on the radio when I clean and do other household chores for a time and my brain finds its way to that dorm room studying, or…
