Removing School from IDOC

Hey All!

I have recently just withdrawed my application that I submitted my CSS profile to. Will it still be reviewed, and how do I take the school off of my IDOC? Thanks!

Also, out of curiosity, do schools review all CSS profiles, or just those of people who are accepted? (Hint at acceptance? :D)

You can’t remove a school from IDOC.
However, if the school doesn’t have any application from you (or application is withdrawn), the school will have no active admissions file for you, so won’t have any reason to review/download CSS/IDOC. (although it’s possible that they did already in your case since you withdrew an app.)

A call to the Financial Aid office is easy and would ensure a note to your file that you have withdrawn your app, so if they had already begun a FinAid review it won’t continue through their process.

Do schools begin CSS profile review this early? I thought it was only admitted students who were reviewed? @WhataProcess

FinAid offices can not wait until all admission decisions are complete to start processing the applications they have. They may not actually generate FinAid packages, but they are downloading, organizing, etc., and notifying students if there are missing pieces to their FinAid file.
