<p>I received credit for English 10A prior to coming to UCLA, but only have 3 Units for it. However I wish to apply that to satisfying my ge requirements so I plan to retake the class here to bump it up to 5 Units. However under my current degree plan i’ll be coming really close to the 216 Unit Max. Does anyone know if retaking that class will only add 2 REAL units, or would it add a whole 5. Also will it add to my unit cap during the quarter I am taking it in. I.e I’m allowed 19, but if I’m taking 17 other units, will the class bring it up to 22 or just to 19. </p>
<p>Oh and would anyone know who I’d ask, like which counsellor if I want an official answer?</p>
