Reporting Community College Courses?

Hey CC,

I just graduated from high school and an incoming freshman to the U of C. This summer, I’m taking a physics course at a community college just to gain some basic knowledge of physics before I take on the actual physics class at UChicago. This class does not count for credits or anything, so is it still necessary to report it to UChicago? If I’m planning to apply to a graduate school, do I have to report it then as well? Will it look bad if they see that I’ve taken physics twice?

Thanks!

IMHO, ALL your academic records/transcripts should be reported to UofC or during the graduate school application. Be sure do well in your class at CC, otherwise it will look bad in your graduate school apps. It really does not matter to UofC one way or the other.
