<p>My dd is a high school senior and we are filling out the PROFILE for the first time. I am not sure how to answer the question about scholarships and grants received during the previous year. Does it apply to scholarships received for high school? For example:</p>
<p>(1) She attended Governor’s School. It didn’t cost us a penny, but I just got a tax form from the college, reporting its value as a scholarship. Do we list this as a scholarship on the PROFILE?</p>
<p>(2) She took some dual-enrollment courses at the community college. Our state has a dual-enrollment grant program that will pay for one course per semester. Do we list this as a grant?</p>
<p>(3) She takes music lessons through the pre-college program of a local university. She auditioned for and won a scholarship to cover part of the cost of these lessons. Does this count as a scholarship for PROFILE?</p>
<p>I don’t want the colleges to think this scholarship money would be available for college, and I wouldn’t want it to affect her eligibility for financial aid. All of it was tied to specific programs at the <em>high school</em> level.</p>
