I’m applying as a transfer student to a few universities that don’t require midterm grade reporting. My winter quarter grades come out three week after the deadline, and I’m expecting they would lower my currently strong college GPA (~3.9 → a lower 3.8). I contacted the universities and they recommended to send the grades as-is by the deadline and to send an updated transcript as soon as I can. Should I just hold off on reporting this quarter’s grades and send them all together if I get accepted/matriculated? My main worry is that it’ll only weaken my application strength and spend an additional ~$10 for a transcript to hurt my chances.
