Lets make a big list of myths spread by liberals

1)More gun control=less crime
2)Liberals are friends of minorities and the ‘working man’
3)The minimum wage is good for the poor
4)Taxing the rich more is good for the economy
5)World opinion trumps national security
6)Government can manage your money better than you can
7)I did not have sexual relationships with that woman
8)…feel free to add

yeah, and attach an explanation to each item so i can refute them. one of your myths, however, is particularly vile:
i’m not sure why bill clinton’s adultery was ever politically relevant. it said nothing about his abilities as a president. i can’t understand why conservatives cling to the PR circus that was monicagate as though it were core to their political ideology.

because the ball’s in your court. you’re making these huge statements, so it’s your responsibility to show that they aren’t full of crap.
this might be arguable, as CC is the only space where we’ve had conversations…
but i don’t know where the hell you’re getting this from.
my argument was that clinton’s behavior shouldn’t have been prosecutable in the first place. i’m not excusing him for lying, i’m attacking conservatives for making a big deal out of his personal life. after all, it wasn’t about him lying. the media circus was entirely about his sex life.

bill clinton was prosecuted because someone came forward with allegations that he had sexually harassed them. Monica Lewinsky was a character witness - to prove that Bill Clinton had a record of extramarital interest in women. He perjured himself in a trial about sexual harassment, not about adultery.
