The only legit temp agency I know is Kelly . . . can someone fill me in on others? The applicant is my 23 year-old niece, who has an education degree and teaching certificate. She does some substitute teaching but would like something that has a little more predictability. She is hoping to land a full-time teaching job for next year but was not successful this past year.

Are teachers usually hired through temp agencies?

My company usually uses Kelly, and we’ve also used Roth Staffing. We hire for accounting/admin and IT positions, nothing educational.

Has your niece checking in with the placement office of her college?

Thanks, LasMa. And sorry - I didn’t mean that she was looking for a teaching job through a temp agency; she’s thinking of looking for any kind of more stable but still temporary position.

Ah. She could definitely start with Kelly. If she has any inclination toward accounting/bookkeeping/billing, Accountemps is good.
