Reputation/job opportunities?

hey do companies look at SD students highly…i know its like really easy to get a job if u go to SC cus of their prestige/alumni network…and same with other colleges

is this the same with SD?

thanks

Many companies, escpecially San Diego companies, recruit UCSD students for jobs… like Qualcomm… UCSD is their main source, then some east-coast-ivy-whatever school. The Jacobs School has partnerships with many companies. I wouldn’t say it’s as extreme as SC (alumni totally look out for each other in a cult-like fashion), but you won’t have a prob. :D

sc, santa cruz?
or sc, southern cal?

usc=ucsd>ucsc

Sc as in USC

thanks for the response…

how about for grad school…would a decent gpa at SD get me into a good grad school over a high gpa at UCI?

thanks

im wondering the same. would sd or usc be better for grad school and/or future job opps?

for grad school, i dont know, but if ur plannin on workin after ur undergrad, SC will get u WAY more offfers i think personally…just cus of the network they have
