Reputation of McGill???

How reputable is McGill among graduate schools around the world?

Also, is there anywhere that ranks the schools?

For which department? You should check to see how the faculty in it are publishing articles, speaking, and writing new books, and how the department itself places freshly minted PhDs and M.A.s or M.S.s. These are helpful indicators of quality.

I’m not sure of the degree McGill grants, so I listed common various advanced degrees in America. Sorry if they are not the what Canadian universities award.

i realize the question was misleading

i was more interested in the reputation of it’s undergrad program among graduate schools.

Oh. Well, there are various famous international school rankings, including the London Times rankings. You should probably post this in the main forum, under something like “international reputation of McGill for graduate schools.” As far as I know, it’s fairly good, but not as high as say Harvard or Oxbridge.

It’s pretty good. I went there and my classmates have been accepted to graduate studies (in no particular order) in Oxford (including 2 Rhodes scholars), Harvard, U of Chicago, Standford, Johns Hopkins, MIT, University of Washington (which has possibly the top graduate programs in Statistics), etc (and Waterloo, U of T and UBC for the Canadians reading this)…
