I see that some schools require a gpa and rank and other schools recommend it but do not require it. Lets say an applicant’s weakest point is their gpa, would it hurt them not sending in the gpa or rank to the schools that do not require it?
They will calculate your GPA when they get your transcript.
If they don’t need your class rank, you won’t be hurt by not sending it.
@happymomof1 do you have details on how they calculate gpa (i.e. some i’ve heard take out non academic courses like gym )
Each place uses its own system. It really, truly, is OK for you to ask the admissions offices about it.
