<p>Grandson has 1950 SAT and 31 ACT scores; wants to apply to some Ivies, but did not take Subject matter SAT. Deadline to sign up is September 6, date of taking October 5, but scores may not be available for application deadline. Are SAT subject scores required for Ivies?</p>
<p>Princeton requires 2 subject tests, but you can submit up to three I believe. If he is applying engineering he needs to take one subject test in either chemistry or physics and math (level 1 or 2). I took the October Subject tests and they were out in time for the November 1st Early Action deadline. He may want to retake the ACT too to try and raise it. I wouldn’t submit his SAT score. He should identify his strongest subjects and study them over the summer, especially if he hasn’t taken the class recently.</p>
