requirements for stanford?

so, here goes

Im currently a student living in asia[i know that just makes the situation worse], and im kind of interested in stanford since many of the family friends sons have went there…Currently, i will be going overseas to study 11th grade on a scholarship, so i was wondering what grades and SAT scores will be considered sufficient to be considered for admission at all. Also, can you evaluate how average my tenth grade results and co-curriculars look like?

10th Grade Results [O levels]

English - A2
Maths - A2
Additional Maths - A2
Physics - B3
Chemistry/Biology - A1
Social Studies- A2
Higher Chinese - E8
Chinese - B3

I kind of failed higher chinese because i was sick on that day, although i have plenty of transcripts to prove that my results lie in a B range which is a relatively good score…Taking the SAT chinese soon, and i expect to get 800 without sweat

Co-Curricular Activities
Volunteer at old folks home
Fund-raising for disabled people
Service to Nation for National day [participation with armed forces]
Represented School and Country in overseas programmes with scouts
Volunteer teaching to under-priveleged children[intend to do it soon]

What’s the difference between A1 and A2? And for the grades and SAT scores of the average student accepted into Stanford you can check that on CollegeBoard. I think it’s on their College Finder thing.

Do you have any leadership positions? Any extra-curricular activites you’ve been involved in for an extended period of time?

In any case, you can have the best scores, EC’s etc, but it really comes down to writing some really fantastic essays. And even then it’s still luck and chance.
