Rescind Admission

Under what conditions will USC rescind my admission?

Would a suspension during the second half of my senior year cause me to be rescinded?

Please don’t answer these questions in public: (These are questions to ask yourself)

But, in general: Why were you suspended? Was it an infraction of a dress code or an honor code? Were you caught cheating? Did you forget to return library books? Did you go to the beach on a school day? And is your school contacting USC?

I imagine that certain reasons for suspension and contact with USC would put you in jeopardy. Talk with your parents, your counselor and your school. Try and rectify the situation.

Good luck.

I concur with ellebud -> Talk with your parents, your counselor and your school. Try and rectify the situation.

If this happened & is not a theoretical question, then bravely confront this set-back and try to fix it. Do what’s right and necessary to rectify it. Find out if USC will be notified and ask if it goes on your permanent hs record. If so, talk to the college and guidance counselors at school. Ask them for their help. We all make mistakes and, hopefully, learn from them.

You were admitted to USC! Good job. It’s an achievement and something you earned by doing a lot of things right! Hold your head high and do what’s necessary to keep your future on the course you want.

Good luck.
