<p>you let them know when you drop a course…and if it is after u are accepted/rejected then they will let you know if it affects your admission…so if it has to do with your igetc/ meeting 60 units/ or pre reqs then there is a better chance than if it is just a random class you dont need.</p>

<p>they usually dont care if its any old class, but if it is a class that is a major pre-req or a class that affects ur IGETC certification, u could definitely get rescinded.</p>

<p>yes it is true, unless it’s a class u don’t need. if the class u drop is required to complete IGETC, prereq, breadth, etc…then u r screwed</p>

<p>well even an IGETC class maybe not, because the UCs do have the seven course breadth requirement alternative to IGETC, so if thats completed then ur probably ok, unless u stated on ur app that u would be doing IGETC and turning in ur certification. In any case I would call each individual school, about anything u want to drop, pre-req, IGETC, or even a random class.</p>

<p>what if you don’t take a class u said u will for a requirement but substitute it with another class that meets the same requirement?</p>

<p>you email them if you can’t take the courses and if you still have enough units then it shouldn’t be a problem unless you didn’t complete a prereq</p>
