I got in with the stats
GPA: 4.0 (weighted)
SAT: 2250

My senior year:
GPA: 2.9 weighted

I got 3 D’s in total (two in the same subject AP Chemistry) (1 in a non- A-G course)

what should I do?

you appeal and then if it fails you go to CC for two years. it’s not as bad as you think it is…many distinguished people have graduated from community colleges

I haven’t been rescinded yet, I am asking if I am going to get my offer rescinded?

Honestly, the first thing you should have done was e-mail admissions about your situation and not ask on collegeconfidential. I don’t know if it’s too late to ask, but do it as soon as you can (RIGHT NOW). Tell them about your situation, tell them how and why you did so bad in your senior year (be honest!), and tell them how you would improve if you are given a second chance.

They should have received your transcript already, and when they see that you went below the 3.0 weighted GPA AND have 3 D’s, THEY WILL RESCIND YOUR ADMISSION unless you tell them ASAP about your grades. Sometimes they’re lenient and other times they’re not. They do indeed look at your stats that you applied with, and yours look pretty solid so you might have a chance.

And yes, if you do get revoked, appeal.

Good luck! Tell us whether or not you get rescinded!

if you have a legitimate reason I don’t think you’ll be rescinded. your SAT is incredibly high and well above the median. I would call the office of admissions and ask for their thoughts.

Update us on how it goes.

You’ve made a few mistakes here. First off, since you write you got 2 D’s in Chem one must have come 1st semester and 1 the end of the year, which means you already failed to meet the condition in your application-received notification that required you to notify the school of any grade less than a C; you knew about the 1st D around January but didn’t tell them. Second, you might not have enough A-G units to be eligible for admission to a UC which makes revoking your admission pretty much a certainty if true (unless they let you make it up). But wait, you knew about this for over a month, and had you contacted them right away you might have been able to take summer school somewhere to make up for it if that’s what you needed to keep your acceptance, but now that its the end of July you’ve made that impossible.

We’ll all keep our fingers crossed for you, but at this point you should be looking at what your alternatives will be just in case.
