Hey!

So I put “Linear Algebra and Differential Equations” as my second semester elective class (I’m taking it at my local community college), but, unfortunately, the college has severely cut back on the number of spots available for high school students. I spoke with the professor teaching the class during the fall quarter about my spot in the class and he said he could guarantee me a spot, but now it looks like I will not be able to add the class after all.

Do I need to contact my colleges and inform them that I am not able to take this elective? Would it be acceptable for me to try to enroll in the class the following quarter (summer)?

Thanks!
