rescinded?

So I’ve had a cumulative gpa of 92.8 for 7 out of 8 semesters, and for my final semester of senior year my gpa is 87.8…would that get my merit money to saint louis university rescinded?

It’s not senioritis…its the 78 in calculus

At my son’s school a 78 would be a “D” and potentially a problem. If, at your school, a 78 is a “C”, then I don’t think it will be an issue at all.

However, the semester isn’t over… get on the calculus and get that grade up!

First of all, congrats on your decision to attend SLU next year. My D liked the school a lot (but didn’t like the idea of the nosy St. Louis relatives “checking in on her”).

I agree with DeirdreTours – if 78 is a C you’ll have no issue with being rescinded. The bigger issue is why you’ve relaxed your studying habits. College classes cover lots more material, and cover it faster (and with much less supervision!) than HS.

i really don’t think i’ve gotten lazy (maybe just a tad, naturally) but i think its the fact that i’m taking accelerated physics, ap calculus, and ap spanish

i’m going to talk to my counselor monday for advice…and start buckling down (only 25 more days!!!)…this has gotten me a little nervous

In my opinion, you don’t need to worry about it. A 78 is a C+ in our school district. Talk with your teacher about any extra help that might be available, see if you can get help with understanding the material from someone in your neighborhood who knows (or remembers) calculus, do your best, and again, don’t worry.
