<p>i am wondering how particular colleges are when it comes to rescinding. for example if all your grades on your college application are correct and you mis name a class (i called my robotics class pre engineering) will the college take away admissions after seeing my official transcripts. i have heard of colleges canceling admissions</p>

<p>I am guessing here…when you applied, didn’t your guidance counselor have to write something to collaborate what you wrote on your application? If not, it may be possible the college you are applying to has access to a roster of the classes offered at your school. In either case, talk to your GC and ask them for advise as to how best to handle this situation. It may be not a big deal-Good Luck.</p>
<p>I think the college would go by your official transcript (mid-year and final) rather by what you put down on your application. I also doubt it if they would compare your final transcript vs your application. At most, they would just make sure your final grades are not below certain minimum. I wouldn’t worry. Even if they do catch it, just say it was a mistake.</p>
