Rescinding College Acceptances

Hey guys! I’m a class of 2012 wondering how one would respond to colleges without a clear “no” selection on their response materials in order to say that I am not going to attend. What is the M.O. in this situation? E-mail, phone?

Thanks!

Edit: More specifically, Johns Hopkins, as they are the only ones without a “No” checkbox.

Just write on the response materials, “No, I will not be attending. Thank you.”

Why would you turn down JHU?

GO TO JOHNS HOPKINS!

imathriver: Because I don’t want to go there :P

Chedva: Thanks, I think I’ll do that in the case that I have no other option, but it just seems unprofessional when there is no clear place to put that statement.

Then write a letter, if you want to be professional.
