otherwise it costs $50 to handscore multiple choice only</p>
<p>If you got a 200-400 on some section and you’re absolutely sure you deserved a 700 or more, I’d do it. Otherwise, who cares? Your scores in the same section from other tests will show that you know your stuff.</p>
<p>its that i got 4 wrong in math (710) and im pretty sure i only got 2 wrong which means (740-750) also i remeber erasing some answers and changing them, maybe i didnt erase fully?</p>
<p>It would be worth a $100 to me, but I have money because I drive an 8 year old contour.</p>

<p>the probability of erasure mistakes is quite small actually. the machine is more accurate than one may think. unless you distinctly remember erasing an answer and a definite black mark still being there, i would not recommend wasting $100. I would say one out of every 500 kids actually gets their score changed.</p>
<p>If the machine is “not sure” about an erasure, it kicks the paper out, and a real person looks at the scanned page and makes a decision.</p>
<p>this DEC handscoring reminded me just now, i prolly made a lot of erasures on SAT 2 CHemistry in JUNE, i got 640, but i remember erasing alot, do u think i could get that handscored even though its June??</p>

<p>unfortunately, you won’t sonic, because of the reasoning that you could have had 2 answers but unsure of what to put so you put both</p>

<p>If there is a disagreement between the gridded and written answer, the paper is also kicked out to a human being (the scanners can read optical characters). The person will accept the written answer, as the assumption is that it is more likely that a wrong circle was filled in rather than a wrong number being written. Answer sheets are also kicked out if any of the student information written in doesn’t match the gridding, or if the written, or the gridded information, such as name or address, is missing.</p>
<p>so is the essay verification worth $50, do they actually reread the essay and rescore? because if they dont then im not paying $50 for essay verification, i will just order the multiple choice handscore</p>
