<p>I was invited to work at a lab this coming spring semester and the professor told me to apply for some fellowships, because he cannot offer pay, only credits. So I am trying to apply for this fellowship, but these very general questions, questions I am sure you have encountered, are troubling me. Questions like what I want to get out of the research and my proposal for work in the lab. I am simply working under this researcher so I don’t know how to respond (proposal?). I want to say that I want to get exposed to research and delve into a specific topic to learn more about it, but I feel like its not what they want. I want to be honest. </p>
