<p>I have no idea how to go about finding a decent research laboratory where I can do some volunteer research.</p>

<p>Could someone give me tips on how to find a good lab?</p>

<p>Or even a good place (NC preferrably)?</p>

You could go online, try to find a couple professors who specialize in your field of interest, and try to e-mail them…</p>
