Research Paper Issues: help quick please

I wrote two research papers and had a mentor for each.

My first paper was on electromagnetics for Schumann Resonance. My mentor for that paper submitted a rec letter to all the colleges I’m applying to. I’m not sending that research paper in however.

I have a new mentorship now working with satellite communications for a UAV company. I wrote a research proposal for doing satellite throughput and link quality testing of a ground-satellite-ground and ground-aircraft-ground testing to compare various transmitter-receiver systems and such. The proposal has been used by company executives in correspondences and meetings and been reviewed/edited by a few of them as well. I don’t know if I should submit this because it is a Research Proposal, not a paper, yet. We will conduct the testing in Spring 2014 in Venice… so I wont have the paper until then. I might try to get it published if things go well (have to look further into that later).

My mentor for the satellite communications paper hasn’t sent in a rec letter. I didn’t want to send to many to the schools since my other recommender already has. I have his signature on the title page of the proposal however.

Should I submit my satellite communications research proposal with my mentor’s signature on it or should I not submit it? (both of my abstracts went in through common app)

(I’ve posted on this a bit before but haven’t gotten any really definitive suggestions that people were confident in. That being said, please feel free to comment any ideas or whatever your suggestions may be regardless.) Thanks!!!

Are you still able to submit research papers? I haven’t been able to log in to my princeton portal, and I still need to submit an arts supplement - are they still taking those, and if so, for how long?
