who got in from this thread??

@ragster: how do you know when we’re getting results?

look at amy’s twitter, link is a couple pages back.

Looks like notifications will be coming out middle to end of next week.

AMC hijack- did anyone else think it was a good deal harder than last year? The guys at my school who went to the next round last year didn’t make it this year, and only one girl at my school that I know of got the requisite 14 questions (there are a couple of underclassman guys who I don’t know about, but beyond that, despite a year more of math, my score remained the same. Highly annoying)

Yeah! Yeah! I think I passed the AMC!

@ greenbeat - harder??? easier!!! I got a 111! I usually get around 15 points lower than that!!!

AMC = HARD! I knew 8, had a pretty good idea for 3, and guessed on 3. Oh well…

I messed up # 9 and #25, but whatever. still made it!

I did 20, left 5 blank. Didn’t want to list for 18 (in the interest of time), couldn’t do 19, and I got to 21-25 with 15 min left so I just picked two and did them. How do people actually finish this…

AMC’s were brutal this year, as were the F=ma exams =[

I thought the AMC 12B was at least as hard as the A. My score on the B went down by 16.5 points from my score on the A.

I got 101.5 on the AMC

Whattup dawgs 127.5 on the AMC 12 and a 20+ on USAPhO F=ma…too bad it’s too late to report anything to RSI…

man… one week until decisions seems torturous!

What other programs are you guys applying to? I know I had a few cough-four-cough backups.

Clarks

JCVI internship

misc. internships

I know a lot of people at my school applied to the Jackson Lab in Maine

JCVI, Rockefeller, nih

Summer Science Program

TASP and Clark Scholars
And if I don’t get accepted to any, I will continue to research in the lab that I currently am, and have another internship just about confirmed too.

I guess I’ll be happy no matter what happens, which takes off a lot of the stress.

yay, my backup professor said she would take me :D
