<p>Are there any research opportunities (preferably) or summer programs that I can do after my senior year of hs in the summer at college station? I got something in my acceptance package about a possible “summer research scholarship” but can this be done after my senior year?

<p>I don’t think so. You haven’t taken any classes towards your degree and most research offered at A&M would be to undergrads who are already involved in that specific field.</p>

<p>I’m not sure. It depends on which field you are wanting to go into/do research in. You’d have to look into it because often times the summer programs for undergrads get filled early (sometimes in the fall of the prior year). </p>
<p>Summer school is definitely an option. You’d have to talk to some counselors, but I’ve had friends who’ve taken summer school before entering freshman year. Just remember, summer school is not any where near as hard as your fall/spring semesters will be (I took it last summer after my freshman year).</p>
