<p>Hey all,</p>

<pre><code> I’m applying ED to upenn SEAS. I did research under the physics dept. for two summers in a row (which is helping tremendously with the “which professor would u like to do research with” essay). I was wondering, if my GPA and SAT’s are kinda average (top 6ish% of class of 58, 2150, perfect math and chem sat II) But my e.cs are really good, will this research thing be like a hook? In other words, how much will doing research help me?
