<p>I need to check and see if my D1 was in WIMSE. She was not in Cawthon as a freshman as she elected the then Honors dorm (Reynolds). I recall it was an option for her, but her mentors were faculty members in Chemistry and Biochemistry and later the med school. One female biochemist especially attracted her to Florida State; notable to us due to the obvious difficulty of the field. One day we are wondering what she’ll study and then its biochemistry and medicine.</p>
<p>I would recommend any program which puts a student in a solid working relationship with a faculty member - especially women in STEM.</p>
