I’m hoping to get real feedback and advice from people’s experiences with the following colleges; if you can share any thoughts, vices, pros and cons, and overall just how effective their programs are and if you think they’re worth applying to, I’d greatly appreciate it!

I went to Juilliard, and had never taken a voice lesson before I played a principal in both a musical on Broadway and I’m not the only person from Juilliard to have done this. Although you’re not going to get the dance and technical singing training from a MT program, you’ll learn how to act through song like a BEAST! You can always supplement during summers and your time off. I know acting students who have traded acting coaching for dance and singing lessons from students in other departments!
Hey, Baritenor, everything is going to depend upon your audition. And unless your family has massive wealth, so that they wouldn’t even miss 400K for a full-price college education, you really have to consider cost. You don’t want to come out with college debt from a musical theater degree.
If you’re looking for merit money, add U Hartford. They have a conservatory, and a musical theater degree. In general, U Hartford offers significant merit money for those with very strong applications (I mean GPA and SAT/ACT) because it overall brings up their stats, even though what matters for getting accepted to musical theater is your audition.
